Ramona
Our precious Ramona is ready to start the search for her perfect family.
This beautiful girl has been through so much after being presumably dumped on a logging road with her two kittens. Sadly, we seem to be seeing more and more of this.
When Ramona first came into our care, it was immediately clear that she wasn’t feral, but she was extremely shut down and depressed. She would hide, but the minute you touched her, she would come alive, purring and rubbing against you. It was heartbreaking to see just how much she wanted affection while being so frightened of her surroundings.
Thankfully, Ramona has made huge progress in her foster home. She is much more comfortable now and gains a little more confidence every day. She is out and about in her very calm foster home, enjoys being petted, and is a very loving girl. She isn’t a lap cat or a cuddler right now, but that may come with time. There’s no way to know how far she’ll come once she feels completely safe.
Ramona has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. She is guesstimated to be approx. 2 years old.
She is looking for a quiet, calm and predictable home with patient people who will give her the time she needs to settle in and continue to rebuild her confidence. After everything she has been through, she deserves a family who will let her set the pace and show her that people can be kind.
She is not suited to a home with small children. We think Ramona would absolutely thrive with calm, patient people who understand that trust takes time. If that sounds like you and your family, please complete an adoption application.
