Panda

Panda was rescued from a farm where a feral cat had given birth to kittens in an abandoned building. He was a wonderful cat, but also a bit of a challenge.  He was very strong-minded and incredibly determined.

He was adopted into a loving home alongside his brother, but about a month later, Panda escaped. We assumed he was close by and did everything we could. We put up posters throughout the area, alerts on ROAM, and outreach to local agencies, but he was never found.

Three years later, I received an email from EIDAP (microchip company) asking for information about him. It led to a phone call I will never forget!!  Panda had been found across the city from where he originally went missing.

Microchips really do save lives. We never thought we would see him again. Now he is happily adopted by a veterinarian.
