King
King is looking for a loving, understanding home. We are really hoping to get this special guy settled into the stable forever family he deserves.
King is a wonderful cat: smart, playful, fun, and incredibly interactive once he feels safe. He bonds deeply with his people. He just needs a little time to get there.
Transitions are hard for King, and he typically needs about two weeks to settle into a new space. Starting him off in a small, quiet room helps him feel secure. When his current foster gave him a cozy space where she could gently interact with him instead of letting him hide, he immediately began purring and head-butting. And from there, his sweet personality came shining through.
King doesn’t “show” well. If you come to meet him, you’ll likely be looking at him from under a couch. But with patience, he blossoms into an affectionate lovebug.
King’s ideal home:
No young children. He came from a busy household, and loud sounds and sudden movements make him anxious. A calm, child-free home will help him thrive.
A friendly, confident cat companion would be wonderful.
Enough space to play and explore. He’s an active boy who didn’t love studio apartment living.
A patient adopter who understands that settling in takes time and won’t rush the process.
King is easily startled by loud noises (think doorbells or power tools) He just needs someone who will accept him as he is, celebrate the loving cat he becomes, and give him grace with the things that still scare him.
King is healthy, has perfect litter box habits, and is just under 2 years old. He’s beautiful inside and out.
Because he doesn’t engage with visitors, we are hoping to find a foster-to-adopt situation for him.
