Jeffry

This sweet, sensitive, gentle boy came into our care defeated and withdrawn. At some point in his life, Jeffry had been abandoned and was surviving with the help of a kind neighbour who fed him. They cared for him, but he was being bullied by their resident cat and was struggling to cope. Concerned for his wellbeing, they brought him to a veterinary clinic for help, and that's when we were contacted.

Jeffry spent a long time in foster care learning that people could be trusted again. He preferred to stay hidden at first, and it took patience, understanding, and lots of love before he began to come out of his shell and show us the wonderful cat he is.

A few weeks ago, Jeffry went to a foster-to-adopt home with a quiet couple who were hoping to welcome a mature cat into their family and had plenty of experience helping shy cats settle in. It turned out to be the perfect match.

It's now official! Jeffry has been adopted and is very loved. We are so happy for this deserving boy as he begins the next chapter of his life in a home where he is safe and loved.

Jeffry is a wonderful 5-year-old cat looking for a loving home where he can be the only cat. He is very affectionate with his foster mom and loves spending time nearby, happily snuggling beside you on the couch. Jeffry isn’t a fan of being picked up, but he enjoys quiet companionship and gentle affection.

When Jeffry first arrived in foster care he needed some time to settle in. He can be a little timid around loud noises and unpredictable activity, so a calm home without young children would suit him best.

Jeffry also tends to hide when new people visit, which means it may be difficult to interact with him during a visit to his foster home. Because of this, we offer a foster-to-adopt arrangement so he can settle in at his own pace and show you his loving personality once he feels safe and comfortable.

Jeffry will need a patient home that understands he may take a little time to adjust, but once he does, he will reward you with lots of love and companionship.

Jeffry is neutered and up to date on all of his veterinary care.
