Kiwi & Lemon

Our foster mom has worked hard socializing our kittens and they are now ready to find their forever families!

Kiwi & Lemon, along with their brother Lime and sister Peaches came into our care as young feral kittens, and their dedicated foster has spent countless hours helping them learn that people can be trusted. Thanks to her patience and love, they have blossomed into happy, social kittens.

Lime and Peaches have chosen their forever families while Kiwi and Lemon await the right match.

Lemon and Kiwi are outgoing, affectionate kittens who are always looking for attention, adventure, and freedom. They especially love spending time in their foster home's catio and would thrive in a home with a catio or another safe outdoor enrichment space.

Because kittens do best with feline companionship, Lime, Lemon, and Kiwi are looking for homes where they can be adopted in pairs, or even all three together! If one is adopted separately, they will need a home that already has a young, playful, and friendly cat to be their companion.

We've welcomed four beautiful kittens into our care. These little ones were transferred to us from Foster Kritters Feral Cat Rescue. If you follow their page, you’ll know just how overwhelmed they are with the number of feral and stray cats in the Cowichan Valley. You will also know that they do not give up on catching the moms of found kittens.

These four kittens were caught and safely transferred to us, and thankfully their mom and another kitten were also caught. Catching the moms is so critical, otherwise they are left behind to continue reproducing.

When kittens are found in good condition, it almost always means their mother is nearby caring for them. Sadly, people often assume too quickly that mom has abandoned them. Not only does this leave the mother frantically searching for her babies, but she will also become pregnant again very quickly.

A huge thank you to Lisa and her family for fostering this little family and giving them a safe place to land. These four kittens are in wonderful condition, but they still need time to be socialized, so they are not ready for adoption just yet.

At this time, we are not accepting applications for them as we need to get to know more about their personalities so we can make the best match for the kittens as well as their adopters. More information to come!
