Deacon

Deacon is an absolutely beautiful 8–9 year old cat who was surrendered when his caregiver’s life circumstances changed and they could no longer give him the time and attention he deserves.

He is incredibly affectionate, loving, and thrives on human companionship. Deacon is currently in a foster home in a small one-bedroom apartment, and he’s having a very difficult time adjusting to indoor-only life. At this stage in his life, he’s showing us that he would be happiest in a home where he can enjoy some supervised outdoor access during the day while being safely kept indoors at night to help minimize risks.

Deacon is currently on a urinary diet and has been doing great, with no issues since a urinary tract infection a couple of years ago. He’s currently eating a vet formula, but there are also several non-prescription options available at pet stores that work well too (we’d be happy to share a list).

We know the right home is out there for this sweet, handsome boy. We are also open to considering a foster-to-adopt arrangement for the right home. If you think your home might be right for Deacon, please complete an adoption application form.
