Celine

Adoption Pending Celine, has made her way to Pender Island on a foster-to-adopt agreement.

This amazing little cat was found in a busy area, doing everything she could to keep her kittens alive. When she first came into our care, she was so skinny, exhausted, and clearly traumatized. Thanks to the love and patience of her foster family, she has made incredible progress.

After her kittens, Batman and Robin, moved to another foster home, Celine truly blossomed. No longer having to worry about raising her babies, she became an absolute mush with her foster mum. It has been so rewarding to watch her finally relax and learn that she is safe and loved.

Celine has now found a peaceful, loving home, and we have high hopes that she'll become friends with their resident cat. When she first came into our care, she stayed at my house while I arranged foster placement, and despite everything she had been through, she showed no reaction whatsoever to the other cats. That's actually quite unusual for a nursing mom in a new environment, so we're optimistic that, with slow and proper introductions, she'll enjoy having a feline companion.

We absolutely adore this sweet little cat and are thrilled that she has found such a wonderful family.

Celine is a beautiful 1 year old cat looking for a loving forever home.

This sweet girl somehow found herself trying to raise her kittens in a busy shopping area, surrounded by constant noise and activity. Thankfully, a kind person reached out for help, and Celine and her kittens were safely brought into care.

When Celine first arrived, she was absolutely traumatized. She was frightened, hungry, and constantly on guard. Despite everything she had been through, she was a devoted mom to her kittens, Batman and Robin, despite being exhausted throughout the whole ordeal.

Once Batman and Robin were old enough and had reached 12 weeks of age, Celine moved into her own foster home. That is when her true personality began to shine. Celine finally had the chance to relax, feel safe, and enjoy being young herself.

Thanks to wonderful foster mums, Celine has blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and fun-loving cat. She loves toys, enjoys carrying on with her foster family, and still has plenty of kitten-like energy. She would likely do well with a feline playmate after proper introductions, but she could also be happy as an only cat in a home that provides lots of attention, interaction, and enrichment.

Celine is spayed, has had 2 vet visits and 2 sets of vaccines, plus parasite treatment all done by our vet. She is also microchipped!
