Ready for Adoption
Thank you for considering giving one of our cats a permanent, loving home.
Adopting a cat or kitten can be a wonderful experience, but it’s also a long‑term commitment. Cats form deep bonds and thrive on stability, so we ask that you only move forward when you’re truly ready for that responsibility.
While we will always welcome our animals back to ensure their safety, please note that adoption fees are non‑refundable. They serve as a donation that helps us care for the next animal in need.
Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a home visit. Many of our cats have come from difficult situations where they had to struggle to survive. The purpose of our adoption process is to make sure your home is the right match for you and the cat.
During the home visit, we’ll all have a chance to ask questions and make sure this is a successful match. This helps us find the best‑suited animal for you and the best home for the cats in our care. We are devoted to placing our cats in lifelong, loving homes.
After the home visit, we’ll arrange for you to visit the foster family and meet your potential new family member. If the cat or kitten feels like the right fit, you may be able to take them home the same day.
The application process can feel a bit daunting, but our goal is to set you and your new pet up for long‑term success. We are a volunteer organization and will work as quickly as we can. It may take one to two weeks to complete your review.
Please note:
-
If you saw a cat on our Facebook page but they do not appear here, they are not yet available or have already been adopted.
-
You may still apply for a cat or kitten listed as “Adoption Pending,” as not all pending applications are accepted and not all applicants complete the process.
-
Every cat’s journey to adoption is different, so we don’t always know in advance when they’ll be available. When they are ready, we’ll post them here.
-
Cats can live 15–20 years, so please keep this in mind when choosing the age of the cat or kitten you’d like to adopt. Our goal is to help each feline find their forever home.
-
If you’re unsure which cat might be a good fit and would like help, please complete the application and share as much as you can about your home and circumstances. We’ll do our best to guide you.

Kitten Pair:
Ideally kittens will be adopted into homes as pairs or into a home with another young, playful cat. Pairs keep each other entertained and comforted, reducing destructive behavior (climbing curtains, biting hands) and separation anxiety. They teach each other proper social cues, such as bite inhibition and boundaries, leading to better-adjusted adult cats.
